Uddingston SEAT Dealer W Livingstone Ltd, receives a Community Activity Recognition (C.A.R.) award at the Scottish Motor Trade Association 2019 Annual Dinner. W Livingstone Ltd have been awarded this to recognise their involvement in and support of, many local organisations and events.

The C.A.R. Stars awards were created to highlight the very genuine ‘putting something back’ ethos shown by a number of SMTA members and are awarded each year to dealers who encapsulate this ethos in their own communities.

The Scottish Motor Trade Association were impressed by the support W Livingstone Ltd gives to events such as the Bothwell Scarecrow Festival. This annual week-long festival, supported by W Livingstone Ltd since its inception over 9 years ago, has raised a significant amount of money for charities, such as the Glasgow Sick Kids Hospital, and also a number of local community groups and projects. Recognition was also given to W Livingstone Ltd for the support offered to local students in their fund-raising efforts for a variety of charitable works including a Masquerade Ball in aid of Marie Curie, which raised over £2500 for the charity. Several local sports clubs also receive sponsorship which supports competitions and the funding of much needed equipment.
