Latest model unveiled at London fashion show in collaboration with global fashion magazine brand

The new Mii by COSMOPOLITAN was unveiled at Cosmopolitan magazine’s glitzy #FashFest show in London last week (Thursday 15 September).
The latest addition to the Mii range is the result of an 18-month collaboration between SEAT and the fashion publication’s global creative team, regional editors and European readers. Cosmopolitan’s readers took part in the design process by sharing their thoughts and opinions through surveys and product testing, offering feedback and ideas.
Susanne Franz, SEAT’s global marketing director, said: “This is a car that adapts to today’s lifestyle by providing amazing solutions that are both intuitive and easy to use. The SEAT Mii by COSMOPOLITAN is dynamic, stylish and versatile, with a daring, edgy appeal. Not only did we strive to create an elegant car, it is designed to be a bold, personal ally for the driver, with amazing solutions that are functional and intuitive.”
The launch is being supported by Cosmopolitan with a social media campaign using the hashtag #ThisIsMii, with engaging content based on reader opinions and experiences. It will create a conversation around the car, fashion, lifestyle, beauty and work, putting the SEAT Mii by COSMOPOLITAN in context with readers’ lives. Readers can click through to the SEAT website from the social posts for more detailed information on the Mii by COSMOPOLITAN.
The Mii by COSMOPOLITAN will be showcased at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September.
Launch and specification
The Mii by COSMOPOLITAN will go on sale in the UK in early 2017 with the 1.0 75 PS engine and five-speed manual transmission. The frugal engine emits 102 g/km of CO2, with average fuel economy of 64.2 mpg.
Buyers will get to choose one of two colours: Candy white or pearlescent Violetta. Both are beautifully off-set by jewelled, bi-colour alloy wheels.
The champagne finish of the door mirrors is also used in the cabin: on the air-vents, the infotainment system surrounds and in the stitching of the car, including the floor mats. Violet seats are upholstered in Alcantara, high-end, top-quality upholstery; while the ceiling is upholstered in dark tones, providing a sense of glamour. The interior chrome details are matte, with the exception of the SEAT logo on the steering wheel.

Among other items, standard equipment will include air-conditioning and Hill Hold Control, as well as optional extras such as rear parking sensors and a 300-watt sound system and subwoofer. Drivers can stay connected with the new infotainment system ‘You&Mii ColourConnection+’, which also has a smartphone cradle integrated into the dashboard. The SEAT Mii by COSMOPOLITAN app ‘DriveMii’ – which is available in Play Store or App Store for Android and iOS devices – lets the driver control the infotainment system through a smartphone.
Prices and detailed specification will be available closer to launch.
