Reigning champion Pol Rosell leads the overall standings after summer break
The 2015 SEAT Leon Eurocup restarts this weekend (19 September-20 September) after a summer break at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany.
30 drivers from 16 different nations will compete at one of the fastest tracks on the calendar – measuring 5,148 metres per lap.
Pol Rosell (Baporo Motorsport) leads the standings, but Stian Paulsen (Stian Paulsen Racing) is within six points of the Spaniard. Mikel Azcona (PCR Sport) is in third.
Lucile Cypriano (JSB Competition) leads the Ladies Trophy category with Andrina Gugger (Target Competition) in second place.
Jaime Puig, Director of SEAT Sport, said: “It’s exciting because the mechanical ‘level playing field’ means there are constant changes to the lead in every race. At the Nürburgring, there will be no letting up.”
