Ground-breaking competition set to inspire ‘first edition’ SEAT Ateca

British public decide on look and spec of our first-ever SUV, and get chance to win a holiday too

Ateca, SEAT’s first-ever SUV, opens for ordering on 1 May 2016 and to celebrate we’re launching our biggest competition yet, ‘Decided by You’. It gives the British public the chance to refine the look and specification of a special UK-only ‘First Edition’ model and win a trip to the home of SEAT in Barcelona. 

This is a great opportunity to get everyone talking about the eagerly awaited Ateca, explore the range and create the perfect model for their lifestyles.

The competition runs from 17 March to 22 April 2016

We’re asking customers and friends to visit, where you’ll answer seven lifestyle questions. The answers you give will generate a profile of their character and an Ateca to suit their needs; it will also define (from 192 possible outcomes) the style and substance of the Ateca ‘First Edition’.

Brits have one of the largest appetites for SUVs in Europe, not to mention their own inimitable sense of style. So, with such discerning taste in mind, our ‘Decided by you’ competition is seeking to tap into the British psyche to create an SUV which will slot seamlessly into today’s hectic lifestyles.

Whether you are an extrovert who would appreciate the finer details of bi-colour alloy wheels and tinted windows, or, a techie who would love the car’s Full Link, Top View Camera , Park Assist and electric tailgate features, the possibilities with SEAT’s first SUV are lengthy.

The data collected during the campaign will help inform SEAT on the exterior styling and equipment list of the eventual UK only Ateca ‘First Edition’. The model will be revealed and available to order on 1 May, together with prices and specification for the rest of the range. The first cars will be in UK showrooms from September 2016.
