Success for SEAT at CarFest

CarFest North - logo

SEAT UK made an appearance at the northern edition of this year’s CarFest for the first time, from 31 July to 2 August at Oulton Park in Cheshire.

SEAT helped raise money for Children in Need by asking for donations from festival-goers to attempt the Cup Racer simulator challenge, which was re-worked to race around the festival’s Oulton Park circuit. Over 600 visitors attempted the challenge, and the best lap time was 1:02:639.

Over 1,000 people tried the virtual reality headsets featuring Nurburgring footage that made an appearance at Goodwood.

The brand also took a Leon X-PERIENCE and Leon CUPRA with the events unit to the festival, to give guests the full SEAT experience.

CarFest was set up by radio presenter and car nut Chris Evans, who wanted to create the perfect family festival and raise money for charity; so all proceeds go to Children in Need.

The event hosted a range of activities such as stunt shows, driving experiences, plane displays and music stages with performers including Primal Scream, The Feeling and Proclaimers. Both modern and vintage cars were on display and raced around the track.
