SEAT Leon SC takes on Kia Procee’d in road test
The experts at What Car? put two new coupés to the test in July’s issue to find out who makes the best sporty hatch: SEAT Leon SC was pitched against the Kia Procee’d.
Better drive
Both cars look suitably sporty, but only the SEAT backs up its styling with a similarly sharp drive.” said What Car?

Attractive price
Not only was the SC £415 cheaper on the list price, What Car? also found many other reasons why it offered more value: “the SEAT is predicted to shed £2,000 less of its initial value during the first three years. It’s also cheaper to tax and service, while our True MPG tests prove it’s more economical.”
The verdict
Leon SC: five stars
Kia Procee’d: three stars
“The SEAT wraps up an easy win here,” said What Car? “It’s faster, more fun to drive and more practical, and when you consider it’s also cheaper to buy and run, the margin of victory is anything but small.”
