Says The Sun
“Small estate cars are a designer’s nightmare,” writes The Sun’s motoring editor Ken Gibson in today’s paper. “The SEAT Ibiza ST is the first to offer style and space in one package.”
“The Ibiza ST is a sharp looking modern design with its own very distinct face,” says Gibson. “But it is the side profile that adds a new dimension, with crease lines that slash in different directions from the front wing and across the doors to give the ST an edgier look. The well-rounded rear, featuring new tail lights that cut into the boot, complete a perfectly proportioned car at just over 14ft long.
“In some ways, the ST reminds me of a small Audi estate – and that’s a big compliment.”
“When it comes to functionality – the key selling point for any estate – the ST is not found wanting,” says Gibson. “The ST is a perfectly practical estate.” And on the road, “it feels just like the nippy and agile Ibiza hatchback and that means it is positively sporty for an estate, with precise, responsive steering and assured handling.”
