Lucky Sheila Cardwell, of Lesmahagow Lanarkshire, had an extra surprise when she visited her local SEAT retailer, W Livingstone Ltd of Uddingston.
For not only had she won the cost of her last service back in a national draw, she was also invited to unveil the stunning new SEAT Leon Cupra hot hatch.
Asked if she was prepared to put her £166 winnings towards the deposit on a new Cupra, Sheila replied, “Its lovely, but I think I would need to save up to buy one.”
Indeed even as Sheila was pulling the wraps off the car in the showroom the motoring world was digesting the news that the SEAT Leon Cupra 280 had smashed the lap record of the daunting Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany, becoming the first front wheel drive production car to complete a lap of the circuit in under 8 minutes.
Instead, Sheila is planning to put her winnings towards a dream holiday, possibly a cruise in the Caribbean. Sheila’s windfall was due to her completing an on-line customer satisfaction survey and as her three year old Ibiza 1.4 SE is her first SEAT, she’s certainly happy with the service she has received from the Brand.
“I’ve been very impressed with W Livingstone Ltd, who have serviced my Ibiza since I got it and have been looking after my stepmother’s cars for over 20 years” said Sheila.
