The answer: 180. Who’d have guessed it? One Welsh rugby fan did in a great piece of publicity for SEAT at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff during last weekend’s (17 March) RBS 6 Nations decider between Wales and France.
We parked our eye-catching Leon Supercopa outside gate 3 of the stadium and challenged fans to guess how many rugby balls we’d packed inside it. The prizes: three sets of four tickets for the upcoming Wales V Barbarians Rugby Union match and rugby balls signed by the all-conquering Welsh RU team.
As official car suppliers of the Welsh RU team, we also had extensive SEAT branding at the game, which was live on BBC and attended by more than 70,000 fans. The Supercopa ad was played on the giant screens at each end of the pitch.
Wales finished the game with a 16 – 9 Grand Slam championship-winning victory.
