The new Ibiza Cupra has been put to the test by the UK press and the signs are very positive with AutoExpress and MSN awarding the new model a healthy four stars.

“The Ibiza Cupra is now subtly better than it ever has been. Not only is it slightly quicker but SEAT has also managed to make it cheaper to run and a little bit more comfortable, too.
“The Ibiza Cupra looks prepared for a fight, though, and while it’s always been a good-looking car, this facelifted model is even better looking. The exterior changes amount to a new nose, a set of bi-xenon headlights with a stylish LED shape and some new taillights at the rear.
“Buyers will no doubt be impressed by the amount of gadgets included as standard like climate control, cruise control, Bluetooth and SEAT’s Portable system, which includes touchscreen sat-nav.”

“The standard Ibiza is a sharp looking car, so in adding some chunky 17-inch alloy wheels, a deep front bumper and toning up the rear end for this 2013 Cupra version – including a gaping central-exit exhaust pipe – the Spanish firm has created a rather sporty looking vehicle.
“The interior strikes a similar balance between every-day comfort and sportiness. There’s a pair of two-tone leather-trimmed sports seats that give good support.”
