SEAT has one of the youngest model ranges on the market. With so many new SEAT models, you’ll also find good value older SEAT cars still on the market. Here’s a list of the models you’re most likely to come across.
SEAT Arosa – (1997-2005)
The SEAT Arosa is an economical 3 door City car built by SEAT between 1997 and 2005. Engine sizes include 1.0 and 1.4 petrol plus a 1.4 TDi diesel. Although no longer in production, the SEAT Arosa remains a popular choice amongst used car buyers who want high fuel economy and low insurance costs.
SEAT Cordoba – (1993-2009)
The SEAT Cordoba is a mid sized 4 door saloon car built by SEAT for over 12 years. During this time the cars has had several ‘facelifts’ but always retained the key features of generous interior space & cavernous boot that made the SEAT Cordoba such a family favourite. This model is still available in both petrol and diesel on the used car market. Many Cordoba drivers have also moved up to the new SEAT Altea.
SEAT Toledo – (1991-2009)
The Toledo has been model name used by SEAT since the early 1990′s and during its life cycle it has been both a hatchback and also a saloon. The latest version, launched in 2005 was a large family hatchback available in both petrol & diesel engines. The Toledo exudes the key SEAT qualities of high equipment levels and competitive pricing and as such is popular with a wide range of drivers. Many of today’s new car buyers, who would previously considered Toledo are now opting for the SEAT Altea XL.
SEAT Altea Freetrack 4 – (2007-2009)
This four wheel drive variant of the SEAT Altea features raised suspension for increased ground clearance and larger plastic bumpers and wheel arches. Engine sizes range from 1.4 to 2.0 turbocharged petrol engines, or 1.9 and 2.0 TDI diesel versions. There are also some 2WD versions of this model. SEAT describes this five-seater as three cars in one – with off-road capability, the space of a family hatch plus the handling and performance of a hot hatch.
