SEAT Ibiza SC

SEAT Ibiza SC

SC stands for SportCoupé – SEAT’s ultra-modern sport’s design. Trace the beauty of the new SEAT Ibiza SC’s sweeping signature lines from its sharp grille frame back over the wings, and you can see the impact this car makes on the road.

Let your style and uniqueness shine through the new SEAT Ibiza SC’s cutting-edge bodywork. Triumph in life because you’ve found a car that makes you look good, whether you feel on top of the world or in need of a boost.

However you’re doing, the new SEAT Ibiza SC will exhilarate you, because it’s performance is as impressive as its looks. When your foot touches the pedal you are in complete control of an engine that responds to your every wish. We call it the Sport Coupé because it looks sporty, and feels sporty. It has athletic energy and the technical precision of a champion.

Under the stewardship of SEAT’s new Head of Design Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, the new Ibiza takes on many of the sharp, dynamic details which will be a hallmark of the Brand’s design in the coming years.

And while the new Ibiza once again stands out courtesy of its stylish design and sporting intent, two key strengths are common to all versions of the new car – a very high standard of quality and, of course, outstanding value for money.

The Ibiza is one of the best-selling models in its segment across Europe. Since the launch of the fourth generation car in 2008 more than 500,000 people have opted for one of the Spanish brand’s sporty, compact models. Meanwhile, the average age of Ibiza buyers remains easily the youngest in its market category, underlining the fact that SEAT is truly young spirited.

Design has long been one of the Ibiza’s strengths – consistently named as the most important reason for purchase by customers. And this is set to become even more apparent in future – with its modern, fresh look, the new Ibiza marks a further significant development of the SEAT design identity and prepares the way for future models.

SEAT Ibiza SC - interior

The emotional power of the exterior design is reflected in the interior, too – with an expressive but minimalist and clearly structured cockpit design. The feeling of quality, the high precision of the workmanship, the wide choice of colours and materials ranging all the way to fine leather upholstery serve to underscore SEAT’s standards.

The level of detail can be sensed throughout the new Ibiza – on the steering wheel, in the new design of the Climatronic climate control system and in the new paint surfaces. The focus, however, always remains on functionality – the new instrument binnacle with its improved display is one example, the significantly larger glove compartment, another. With a generous storage volume of 10.7 litres, this compartment now offers space for a lot more than simply a pair of gloves.

The Range

We’ve streamlined the number of trim levels – and introduced a simple and logical naming structure.

E

Sitting below S A/C and only available on the 3dr (SC) body-style, is the E. Ideal for customers with the strictest budgets. In true SEAT style, in addition to a bargain price, the E has an impressive trim level including tinted glass, remote central door locking and electric front windows.

S A/C

Available across all three body styles it ticks all the right boxes for affordability. As the name suggests, air conditioning is standard, along with an MP3-compatible CD player with steering-wheel column controls and an aux-in port. It also has remote central locking, a volumetric alarm and a steering wheel that adjusts for reach and rake.

SE

The SE adds plenty of creature comforts, and is likely to remain the biggest seller in the range. Specification highlights include 15-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, leather steering wheel and trip computer.

FR

Given the appeal for this trim level, this generous and sporty specification is now available across many different engine sizes. This means a more affordable FR proposition but with all the aggressive, bespoke styling you would expect from an FR product. This also means that the practical Ibiza ST is available as an FR for the first time. As well as featuring the trademark FR aesthetics inside and out, these models get 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, ESP, twin exhaust pipes and LED taillights on top of the standard SE equipment.
